John Bonvallet
CEO
JB brings organization and discipline to the operations at Funovation including development processes, shipping, installation, customer support, accounting and ordering systems. There is a lot of process and quality behind our products that make it all so simple for our customers and fun & safe for their players. He has worked on digital air data computers in the Avionics division of Honeywell and spent 16 years with IBM on a variety of products & patents honing his design and manufacturing skills. JB holds an Electrical Engineering degree from Michigan Technological University.
Fun Fact: JB weighs in at 65 kg & his body temperature runs normal at 37°C. He believes the very confusing English system of units is one of the reasons kids don’t do well in science. He has had all his thermometers set to Celsius since 1987. Don’t tell him you don’t like the metric system or he may just tell you to “go to the hardware store and ask for a 1/8 horsepower light bulb”. And if you ask him for his opinion on the metric system, be ready to learn more about its brilliance than you could ever imagine. Of course, then you wouldn’t learn anything about how cool the Laser Maze Challenge™ attraction is. Shhhh!

Ted Ziemkowski
CTO
Ted is responsible for innovating the Fun at Funovation. He has played with the big boys (HP, IBM, Schneider Electric) but they just were not enough fun. Graduating number one in electrical engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Ted holds 21 patents with several more pending.
Fun Fact: As far as we know, Ted is the only person with a Laser Maze Challenge™ in his basement.
Erick Mueller
Chairman / VP Sales & Marketing
Erick is responsible for connecting with customers and creating Funovation’s message to the world. He has co-founded four businesses, where he created the sales & marketing foundation from ideation to full operation. He’s also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Colorado where he enjoys giving back by teaching Entrepreneurship courses. He holds an MBA magna cum laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Fun Fact: A few years back, Erick jumped on his Harley and traveled the country for a few months developing the Tour de Happiness, a documentary exploring happiness. If you challenge him to a Laser Maze battle and win (doubtful!), perhaps he’ll share with you the secrets to happiness….
